Here for your consideration is a 1974 Fender Telecaster Custom in good condition! In our opinion this is how a vintage guitar should look; Well loved, played to s***, and full of mojo. This one has definitely seen its fair share of use, but plays amazing and has tons of character. Body shows quite a bit of surface wear including marks, dings, scratches, finish wear & chips, etc. but has no major damage and is overall in good shape. Neck shows a good amount of wear as well, including finish marks, wear, and finish chipping, minor dings, etc., but overall in good shape and shows no signs of any major damage, is good and straight with a fully functioning truss rod, and a nice comfortable C profile. Headstock shows marks, dings, scratches, and wear as well, but has no major damage and is overall in good condition. Fretboard shows a good amount of wear and finish checking but is over in good shape with no major damage or issues. Frets show some light wear and some very minor divots on the first couple frets, but overall are in surprisingly good shape for their age and compared to the amount of wear on the rest of the guitar with plenty of life left in them. Hardware shows a fair amount of aging and wear, but is all fully functional and overall in good shape. Electronics are working perfectly. Original pots have been changed with a mix of vintage and modern CTS. Bridge pickup has been replaced with a Van Zandt true vintage tele but the original wide range humbucker remains in the neck. Overall a great and very well loved vintage Tele custom with tons of mojo! Has been fully inspected and set up by our tech and ready for a new home. Includes original hard case.
