Vintage 1978 Fender Music Master Bass

Here for your consideration is a 1978 Fender Music Master Bass in very good condition! A super fun short scale bass that is just incredibly cool and easy to play! The body shows a fair amount of surface wear including finish discoloration, surface marks/ dings, finish chips, a decent dent/ding on the bottom edge (see photo), and a minor neck pocket crack that we had our luthier professionally fix, and is nearly invisible. Despite the wear, the body remains structurally solid, and has no major damage or issues, and is full of mojo! Neck shows a fair amount of surface wear, with some very minor dings, none of which affect playability. Otherwise the neck is in great shape with no major damage, and is a nice full C profile that feels great with the short scale length! Headstock shows some general surface wear, and some minor dings along the edges, but is otherwise in great shape. Fretboard remains in great shape with only some light wear along the edges. Frets are in great shape with no notable issues, divots, etc., and have plenty of life in them. Hardware shows some light age/wear, but overall have no issues and work perfectly. Electronics are completely original and have been thoroughly inspected, tested, and cleaned by our tech and working perfectly. Original pickup sounds great and is super punchy! This one has quickly become one of our favorite bass guitars in the shop! Plays effortlessly, and sounds great. Has been fully inspected and set up by our luthier and ready for a new home. Includes gig bag.
