Description:

Here for your consideration; A rare iteration of the famed "335 killer" Yamaha SA2000 from 1983! The letter "S" stands for solid, denoting the carved solid spruce top. Standard SA2000 models featured laminated maple or birch tops, making the "S" variant distinct in tone, construction & looks. This one is in very good condition for its age and looks, sounds, and plays amazing! The body shows some light surface marks, and dings, with some light finish checking on the back edge near the strap button. Otherwise the body is in great shape overall. Neck shows a very small impression behind the 5th fret that cannot be felt while playing, but is otherwise in excellent shape. Headstock shows some light surface marks but is otherwise in great shape. Fretboard remains in excellent shape and frets show very little wear with plenty of life left in them. Hardware shows a light amount of aging/wear, but overall is all in great shape. Electronics have been thoroughly inspected and cleaned and work perfectly. Original humbuckers sound incredible! This one definitely lives up to its reputation of the "335 killer". Super clean and plays amazing! Has been fully inspected and set up by our tech and ready for a new home. Includes gig bag.
