Maker: Greco
Model: VB500
Condition: very good
Description:
From 1979 Greco's take on the classic Hofner Violin bass made famous by Paul McCartney. Built in the golden era of Japanese "lawsuit" guitars this shortscale wonder plays beautifully and has looks to match. Although 45 years old it has remained in very clean condition. Hardware shows some patina/finish dulling from age but all in very good working order. original pickups are strong, clear & punchy as they should be. Has some added flair in the form of the rose appliqué between the pickups. Shows a few minor dings here and there but remains in overall very good condition. Frets are excellent with only very light signs of use. Back of the body and neck has some beautiful flame figuring.
Has been fully inspected and setup here by our team at Coast Sonic and is ready for a new home. Ships with generic gigbag.
