Here for your consideration is a 2008 Martin D-28 Standard Dreadnought 175th Anniversary w/ Case! Not hard to see why Martin has been at it for over 175 years with guitars like these. Body shows 2 cracks on the back side that have been filled in (see photos). After comparing with the other D-28's we have in the shop we have come to the conclusion that the cracks do not have any effect on the resonance, tone, or structural integrity of the guitar. Still sounds beautiful and exactly as it should. Besides the cracks the body is in overall excellent condition. Neck shows some light surface marks but is otherwise in great shape. Headstock shows some minor surface marks and wear but is overall very clean. Fretboard remains in excellent condition. Frets show some minor divots in the first positions but overall have no issues and tons of life left. Bridge is solid, bridge pins are a bit chewed up but function perfectly. Tuning machines are in great shape. A great deal on a great sounding Martin for someone who doesn't mind a few cosmetic issues. Has been fully inspected and set up by our tech and ready for a new home. Strap that holds the top/lid on the original hard case is broken but case is still fully functional, the lid just does not stay propped up when open.
