A rare Fender Japan Telecaster Thinline Special TN-90SPL manufactured for Japan's domestic market and rarely seen in this part of the world. A unique twist on a Thinline from Fender's J-Craft series and features a semi-hollow ash body with USA Fender Texas Specials in the middle and bridge positions, a Dragster Humbucker in the neck and 5-way "Nashville Tele" switching. This one remains in great shape and plays like a dream! The body shows some very light surface marks and a very minor finish scratch near the neck plate (see photo), but is otherwise in excellent condition. Neck is in excellent condition with no notable damage or blemishes. Headstock shows some very light surface marks and some very light wear along the edges, but is otherwise in excellent shape. Fretboard shows some very light marks along the edges but is otherwise in great shape with no major damage or issues. Frets show some minor wear and divots, but overall are in good shape with no issues with buzzing, dead spots, etc., and have a good amount of life left in them. The bridge plate and saddles show a light amount of wear and age, but otherwise all hardware is in excellent shape. Electronics have been thoroughly inspected and cleaned and work perfectly. Featuring a super versatile pickup arrangement with a Dragster humbucker in the neck, Tele neck pickup in the middle position, and a Tele bridge position with the classic Nashville 5-way pickup switching arrangement for a wide array of tones. Overall a wonderful feeling, unique, and versatile Tele! Has been fully inspected and set up by our luthier and ready for a new home. Includes SKB Semi-hard case.
