Description:

Here for your consideration is a 2003 Japanese made Gretsch Tennesse Rose Junior 6119JR in excellent condition! A compact version of the classic 6119 with all the familiar tone and feel as the original sized version. This one appears to have gone mostly unplayed and is in excellent shape! Body shows some very light surface marks but otherwise is very clean with no major damage or blemishes. Neck is in excellent shape as well with only some very light surface marks and no issues. Headstock shows some very light surface marks and some light aging/oxidization on the tuning machines but is otherwise very clean. Fretboard remains in excellent condition and frets show hardly any signs of wear whatsoever with tons of life left in them. Hardware is overall in very good shape but the control knobs, bridge, tuning machines, and pickup covers show some aging, oxidation, and pitting but otherwise is all perfectly functional and overall in good shape. Electronics are in perfect working order and the "High Sensitive Filtertrons" Sound ridiculously good!!! Overall a killer Gretsch that feels amazing in a slightly more manageable size. And of course, it has "That Great Gretsch Sound!". Has been fully inspected and set up by our tech and ready for a new home. Includes original Gretsch hard case. The Gretsch G6119JR Tennessee Rose Junior is a highly sought-after, Japanese-made hollowbody electric guitar from the Professional Collection. It is a scaled-down, more compact version of the legendary full-sized G6119 Tennessee Rose. It offers the exact same high-end craftsmanship and iconic vintage twang but in a much more physically manageable form factor.

Standard 16-inch archtops can sometimes feel cumbersome during long gigs. The G6119JR shrinks the perimeter of the body without losing the "woodiness" and acoustic air inherent to fully hollow instruments. Because these Japanese-built "Junior" models (produced primarily in the late 1990s and 2000s) were made in limited production runs, they have become prized collector's items on the used market.

Body Dimensions: Scaled down to a 14-inch lower bout (compared to the standard 16-inch body) with a thin 2-inch body depth, making it incredibly comfortable and feedback-resistant.
Scale Length: Standard 24.6-inch scale, which preserves the familiar string tension and fret spacing of a standard Gretsch.
Tonewoods: Features an arched laminated maple top, back, and sides paired with a stable maple neck and a smooth rosewood fingerboard
Electronics: Equipped with High Sensitive Filter'Tron humbucking pickups delivering clear, punchy mids, robust lows, and signature Gretsch chime
Hardware: Outfitted with a classic Bigsby vibrato tailpiece, an Adjusto-Matic bridge on a pinned base, and premium tuning machines.
Aesthetics: Finished in an elegant Dark Cherry Stain featuring white body binding, pearloid Neo-Classic "thumbnail" fretboard inlays, and a silver plexi pickguard
