Affectionately known as the "good wood" era, in the 1990's Gibson was producing some really great instruments before they decided to do some strange things in the 2000s. This particular USA Les Paul Standard was one ordered by Gibson's Japanese distributor; Yamano Music. Guitars destined for Yamano were considered to be some of the best of Gibson's production to meet the high standards of Japanese buyers. This particular 25 year old example remains in extremely clean condition and seems to have gone mostly un-played. Apart from some finish clouding on the headstock it is in excellent/near mint condition throughout. The nitro finish has beautiful checking across the top for a great vintage vibe, the whole of the body is excellent with almost no signs of use. Headstock and neck are in excellent condition, frets show only the very lightest of any marks. Apart from the nitro finish aging this is almost in mint condition.

Includes original hard case. Has been fully inspected and setup here by our team at Coast Sonic and is ready for a new home.
