Here for your consideration we have a 1998 Gibson 1947 Southern Jumbo in very good condition! Complete with an L.R Baggs pickup system. Body is all mahogany with a sitka spruce top. Shows some light surface scratching, some very minor dings, and some light finish checking for a nice vintage look (photos included). But besides that is in overall very good condition. Neck is a nice medium C profile and is in excellent condition. Headstock shows some light wear but has no major damage or blemishes. Fretboard and inlays are in excellent shape. Frets show some very light wear in the first positions but have no issues and plenty of life left. Hardware is in overall good condition. Tuning machines show some signs of age but are fully functional with no issues. Nitro finish is showing checking/finish cracks throughout for a great vintage look. The L.R Baggs Pickup works and sounds great. Overall a beautiful guitar with a big, warm tone that plays effortlessly. Has been fully inspected by our techs and ready for a new home. Includes original hard case.
