1990 Fender Hot Rod Reissues Series HRR-57 Stratocaster Dimarzio, Kahler, Made in Japan MIJ
Maker: Fender
Model: Hot Rod Reissue '57
Condition: Very good
Description:
Here for your consideration is a 1990 Fender Hot Rod Reissues Series HRR-57 Stratocaster in very good condition! This one was originally sonic Blue but has aged into a very unique, surf green-ish color with a ton of vibe! The body shows some minor surface marks and dings, and the very obvious and super cool (in our opinion) finish discoloration, but overall is in great shape with no major damage. Missing back plate. Neck shows a few minor marks and dings, but none that affect playability and otherwise neck is in very good condition. Headstock shows some minor dings and marks (see photos), but is overall in good shape. Fretboard shows a decent amount of wear, along with some very minor dings (see photos for detail), but otherwise is in good shape with no major damage or issues. Frets show some minor wear and divots but are overall in good condition with no issues of buzzing or dead spots and plenty of life still in them. Hardware shows some light age and wear, but is otherwise all in great working order and good overall condition. Electronics have been thoroughly inspected and cleaned and work perfectly. Featuring two vintage style single coils in the neck and bridge position, and a DiMarzio HM humbucker in the bridge. A great playing Strat with a vintage look and vibe, but with the Kahler floyd rose, 12" fretboard radius, slim neck profile, and DiMarzio humbucker gives it just the right amount of "shredability". And that finish is hands down one of the coolest we've seen! Has been fully inspected and set up by our tech and ready for a new home. Includes original hard case with original documentation and tags. See below for a list of specs and info.
