Description: 

A very clean example of a 1986 '62 Jazzmaster from Fender Japan. All original except for having a different guard (original included) so there are a few extra screw holes (not visible/hidden bellow guard). Shows some light surface marks but no real playwear or damage. We think this may have lived on display as it was autographed on rear of the headstock by the legendary Dick Dale. As such it was probably treated more as a collectable rather than a player, hence it remains in excelent over-all condition.

1986 was the first year of production for Fender Japan's Jazzmaster reissues and these are rarely seen, especially this clean. Overall a great playing 40 year old gem, well balanced jazzmaster from Japan's vintage reissue golden age!

Has been fully inspected and setup here by our team at Coast Sonic and is ready for a new home. Includes padded gig bag.
