Here for your consideration is a 1985 MIJ Fender Order Made '57 Reissue Stratocaster in very good condition! A custom made Guitar from Fender Japan's Order Made program; essentially like a custom shop from Fender Japan at the time where you could order non-catalog finishes and features. This one features an Ash body with a transparent red stain finish, chrome telecaster style knobs, black output jack plate, and a single ply black pickguard. In overall very clean condition for a 40 year old guitar. Body shows some light surface marks and pick marks but is otherwise clean. Neck is clean with no notable blemishes or issues. Headstock shows some light wear along the edges but is overall very clean with no major damage. Fretboard shows some wear on the first fret and some along the edges but otherwise is in very good condition. Frets show some light wear but have no issues and plenty of life left. Hardware shows signs of age and pitting (on bridge and saddles) but is otherwise in very good working condition. Electronics work great and features a vintage style 3-way pickup selector switch. Could easily be replaced for 5-way operation. Features a a set of USA Texas Special pickups. A one of a kind custom shop quality Strat that plays and looks amazing. Has been fully inspected and set up by our tech and ready for a new home. Includes SKB hybrid soft/hard case.
