Description: 

One of Yamaha's most well known models as made famous by the likes of Carlos Santana, Al Di Meola, Phil Manzanera and numerous others.

Although over 40 years old this one remains in good condition. Body shows a fair amount of surface scratches/dings and dents but has no major damage. Shows a good amount of "finish clouding" that is typical with th SG models. Neck and headstock are in good condition. Fretboard is excellent and frets show only minor wear with no issues. Features the Yamaha OPG-1 humbuckers with push pull tone knobs for single coil/humbucker operation. Ebony fretboard, gold hardware, triple bound with inlayed fretboard.  Hardware shows some pitting and age but is fully functional. Overall shows some light wear you'd expect from a 40+ year old guitar , but besides that & the finish clouding is in excellent shape and plays like butter.

Has been fully inspected and setup here by our team at Coast Sonic and is ready for a new home. Includes Yamaha Hard Case.
