Here for your consideration is a really cool 1983 Gibson "The Paul" (precursor to the Les Paul Studio) that has aged into a beautifully greened Silverburst. Features checking throughout for a fantastic vintage look that only time can provide. Overall in very good shape for a 40+ year old guitar! Our luthier did a full re-fret and fretboard level on this one as well as replaced the dead bridge pickup with a Mojotone '59 clone. The body shows some various minor surface marks, dings, finish chips, dents, buckle rash, etc. but overall is in very good shape and even has some wonderful finish checking. Back of the neck shows some minor dings, none of which get in the way of playability whatsoever. Otherwise neck is in great shape. Headstock shows some minor surface marks and dings along the edge but is otherwise in good condition. Fretboard is in excellent shape and frets are brand spankin' new! Hardware shows some light signs of age and pitting but is otherwise all in excellent working condition. Electronics have been throughly inspected and cleaned and work perfectly. Features the original neck pickup, and a brand new Mojotone '59 clone in the bridge (original bridge PU was DOA). Overall an amazing playing Les Paul with that incredible aged silver burst finish! Has been fully inspected, professionally re-fretted, and set up to perfection by our in house luthier. Includes non-original Epiphone hard case.
