Pots upgraded to Alpha's
A very rare 1981 Greco BG800MH "Boogie" - not to be confused with the later reissues. In the golden era of the Japan vintage years it seems Greco wasn't only making incredible copies of all the American classics they were also coming up with a few unique ones on their own. The Boogie seems to pull inspiration from a few different places and features an all mahogany construction, strat-ish body style with an early Precision/Telecaster bass style pick guard, a reverse headstock in the style of a Firebird and with a unique pickup setup. This is a very well preserved one in a beautiful natural Mahogany finish. Body shows light dings and surface playwear but no major dings/dents chips or deep scratches. Neck and headstock are in excellent shape showing only some very light usrface marks. Fretboard is very clean and frets show only some very light signs of wear with no major divots or issues. Hardware shows some signs of age but is overall in great shape. Electronics work perfectly and the original pickups sound awesome. Overall a very well preserved, hard to find vintage Greco. Includes original hard case. Has been fully inspected and setup here by our team at Coast Sonic and is ready for a new home.
