Regular price $1,499.00 USD

Maker: Fernandes

Model: RLG-60 Super Grade

Condition: very good

Description:

A very clean condition Fernandes RLG-60 Super grade goldtop from the early 80s before most Gibson styles fell under the Burny name. Originally this was a '56 model featuring P90's but routed out for humbuckers and has an 80s vintage set of Seymour Duncan Zebra Humbuckers - A '59 in the neck and JB in the bridge. Routing job is very clean and professional looking. Tuners have also been upgraded from Kluson style to Grovers. Body shows some light surface marks and dings and a minor scratch that runs along the top front side (see photo), but is otherwise in excellent condition. Pickguard has been removed but holes remain in good shape so one could easily be added if desired. Neck shows one very minor ding but it does not affect playability in any way and is otherwise in excellent shape. Headstock shows some light surface marks but is otherwise clean. Fretboard remains in excellent condition and frets show only the very lightest signs of wear. Hardware shows some aging and oxidization but is overall in good condition and working perfectly. This is a really great playing Goldtop with some very nice uprades and for the price you can't beat it! Has been fully inspected and set up by our tech and ready for a new home. Includes hard case.
