Here for your consideration is a 1980 Tokai Silver Star SS-48 in very good condition! The epitome of the famed Japanese "lawsuit" era guitars; this is a 1980 Tokai copy of a 70's style Fender Strat that feels and plays better than most real 70s Fender's. Definitely lighter as well. They nailed all the specs; Ash body,  large CBS style headstock, bullet truss adjust, grey bottom fiber bobbin pickups, 3 way switch, aged white finish, even the saddles are the era correct style. This one is in very good overall condition showing some minor surface marks and dings. Neck, Fretboard, and headstock show some light marks but are all in great shape with no major damage. Frets show some light wear but are in good overall shape with plenty of life left in them. Hardware shows some age, wear, and pitting (on the bridge), but is all in good shape.  Electronics work great and features Tokay grey fiber bobbin pickups with full sized potentiometers. An amazing 70's style Strat without the Fender price tag. Has been fully inspected and setup here by our team at Coast Sonic and is ready for a new home. Includes original gigbag.
