Description:
A rare 1980 Greco EG500GS Super Power goldtop with mini humbuckers. Made in Japan at the legendary Fujigen factory in the golden era of Japanese craftsmanship. These are a pretty dead-on copy of a late 70's Les Paul deluxe so it has a non-pancake mahogany body and mahogany neck and the larger 70's headstock. Basically a 70's deluxe but built better than the actual 70's Gibson's - hence the "lawsuit era" association.
This one is in good clean condition for a 44 year old instrument; shows some dings/marks but no major damage. Headstock has edge marks and a small chip on one of the wings, back of neck has a few nicks and marks but nothing major, fretboard and frets are both excellent. Goldtop is very clean with only light scuffing/playwear, rear of body has some dings at the edges and some light buckle worming. Please study photos for full details. Overall a really great feeling/playing version of the 70s classic LP but with a grwat build quality.
