Description:

An oddball "Yngwie styled" Pre YJM 1988 Fender ST-57 Stratocaster with scalloped frets. Originally Sonic Blue but the finish has faded heavily over the years and has an almost vintage "Butterscotch" look to it, we've attached a photo from the neck pocket where you can see the original color. The body is in good shape with only a few very minor dings and of course the faded finish. The neck and headstock are in great shape with no notable damage. The fretboard on this one is very interesting - Looks as though it was hand scalloped from the factory with a sort of "taper" where the scallops start off more shallow at the beginning of the fretboard and get deeper as they go down the neck. The scallop is also somewhat deeper on the high strings compared to the low strings. Has a 2 point tremolo bridge.  Hardware is in good shape. electronics work great and has vintage style low output pickups that sound great. This pre YJM model is an awesome guitar and is looking for good home for someone who would shred it or appreciate it! Gig bag included.

Has been fully inspected and setup here by our team at Coast Sonic and is ready for a new home. Includes gig bag.
