Description:
Here for your consideration is a 1989 MIJ Fender '62 Reissue Stratocaster ST62-55 in very good condition! This one has been modified with a Scalloped fretboard Ala Yngwie, Richie Blackmore, etc. We are not sure when or by who the mod was done but the work is nice. The body shows some various minor dings and some light surface marks but otherwise is very clean. Back of neck shows some very light surface marks but is otherwise very clean. Rear strap button has been relocated slightly above the original hole (see picture) Headstock shows a few minor dings and some light surface marks but is otherwise in good shape. Fretboard is overall in good condition and features what appears to be a DIY Scallop modification. The work is decent and the neck feels very nice and plays well. Hardware shows some age, patina, and rust in some spots but is overall in very good working condition. Electronics work great and features a nice set of vintage style low output Strat pickups that sound great. Overall a very nice Strat that plays like butter with a really cool and fun scalloped Rosewood fretboard. Has been fully inspected and set up by our tech and ready for a new home. Includes gig bag.
