Description:
Here for your consideration is a 2001 Gibson Les Paul Studio in a beautiful Transparent Red finish! A USA made Les Paul Studio made for Yamamoto music in Japan featuring dot fret markers and chrome hardware where regular models of this era had block inlays. This one is in overall very good condition and includes original case. The body shows some general playwear, light surface marks, and a couple minor dings but has no major damage. The back of the body shows the outline of two stickers that were on there at some point but it does not impact the finish and is hardly noticeable. Otherwise very clean. Neck shows some very light surface marks but is otherwise clean. Headstock shows some light wear along the edges but is otherwise in good shape. Fretboard is in great shape but shows some very light wear along the edges. Frets shows some light wear and minor divots mainly in the lower frets, but have no issues with buzzing or dead spots. Hardware shows some light patina but is otherwise in great shape. Pickguard has a crack on the front at where the screw goes into the body (*see photo), but still stays on the body just fine. Electronics work great and features the original pickups that sound fantastic! Overall an amazing playing studio with a killer transparent red finish. Has been fully inspected and set up and ready for a new home. Includes original hard case that is in overall good shape but has a broken combination lock latch, otherwise clean.
