Here for your consideration is a 1997 Gibson SG Standard in very good condition! An absolute classic with a beautiful Heritage Cherry finish. This one falls into the "Goodwood" era and absolutely fitting as this one plays amazing! Body shows some general playwear, surface marks, scratches, and dings, but has no major damage and overall in great shape. Rear of neck shows some very light surface marks but is otherwise in excellent condition. Headstock shows some light surface marks as well but otherwise is in great shape. Fretboard is in great shape, binding shows some yellowing and some very minor cracks near the frets, but binding is structurally sound. Frets show some light wear but overall have no issues and a good amount of life in them. Hardware shows some aging and a fair amount of oxidization/pitting, particularly on the tailpiece and bridge, but otherwise hardware all functions perfectly and overall in good shape. Electronics have been thoroughly cleaned and work perfectly. Features the standard set of 490R and 490T Alnico II humbuckers that sound great. About as classic as it gets! This one is overall in great shape for its age, and plays effortlessly. Has been fully inspected and set up by our tech and ready for a new home. Includes original hard case.
