Description:
A 1990 Heritage Eagle ASB is is a handcrafted semi-hollow or hollowbody archtop guitar built by former Gibson craftsmen at the legendary 225 Parsons Street (former Gibson) factory in Kalamazoo Michigan. "ASB" stands for Antique Sunburst a classic shaded nitrocellulose lacquer finish. While most of these you see feature a spruce top and maple back/sides this one appears to be an all mahogany build with a rosewood fretboard. Frets show some wear but have tons of life left and plays effortlessly. The finish on the back of the neck shows some playwear but is smooth/no dings. Some bucklewear on the rear of the body and a few various light marks throughout. Single floating Heritage pickup in the neck position with a single pickguard mounted volume control. Overall a very good condition jazz machine with a gorgeous dark/rich acoustic top that plays like a dream. A true handmade beauty of an instrument. Fully setup here is store and ready for it's next life. Includes a hardcase.
