Description:
Here for your consideration is a 1990 Gibson Les Paul Special DC Double Cut in very good condition! This one is an affirmation of why this era of Gibsons was called the "Good Wood Era". An incredible player, and a true classic. The body shows a fair amount of surface/pick marks and scratches, and some type of finish reaction causing very small "Dots" in the finish. These are hardly noticeable unless seen in the right light at the right angle and don't even really show up in photos. We've included a few photos highlighting this. There is also some signs of finish checking that is hard to see now, but will continue to look better and better over time. Besides that, the body is in overall great shape with no major dings, finish chips, or damage. Rear of neck shows some very light surface marks but is otherwise in excellent condition with no major damage or blemishes. Headstock shows some surface marks on the front, a very light amount of finish checking on the back, and a small chip in the clear coat on the top edge, but is otherwise in good condition with no major damage. Fretboard and frets are in great shape with a surprisingly very light amount of fret wear. Hardware remains in very good condition as well with only some very light age and wear. Electronics are in perfect working order and the original P90's sound great. This one has to be one of the best feeling guitars we have in the shop. Plays effortlessly, and just feels perfect. This special is truly special! Has been fully inspected and set up by our tech and ready for a new home. Includes original hard case.
