Description: 

The Fender Japan "Order Made" program (late 80s/early 90s Fujigen era) served as a Japanese Custom Shop, allowing customers to order guitars with non-catalog specs, custom colors, and specialized components. These high-quality, often nitro-lacquer finished instruments are frequently stamped "ORDER MADE" or "ORDER" in the neck pocket/heel. 

This one is an "Order Made' version on the 1990 Pro-Feel STR-850LS - a model akin to the American Standard Strat featuring 22 frets neck with a contoured heel and micro-tilt adjust, American Standard 2 point tremolo, Roller nut, USA Fender Lace Sensor pickups, ash body. The "order made" aspect seems to add a roller nut, an angled Lace Sensor humbucker in the bridge position with a series/parallel switch for the humbucker and a custom transparent walnut finish all combining for a very unique modern Strat.

 Overall in good condition and plays great! There is a good amount of "buckle rash" on the back side of the body on the contour (see photo) and some general playwear/surface marks, but otherwise body is in good shape. Neck and headstock show some very light general playwear but overall are in excellent shape. Fretboard shows some light surface marks but has no major damage/blemishes and is overall in good shape. Frets show a fair amount of divots and wear but have no issues of buzzing or dead spots and have a decent amount of life in them still. Hardware shows some age and pitting but is fully functional and overall in good shape. Electronics work great including the preamp and features a set of Lace Sensors with an angled bridge humbucker with a series/parallel switch for the coils. This one feels and plays great and quite a unique setup for a Strat! Has been fully inspected and set up by our tech and ready for a new home. Includes gig bag though we do have hard cases available for upgrade.
