Description:
Here for your consideration we have a 1982 Yamaha SG1500 in good condition! This one shows some wear but it's purely cosmetic, no major damage of any sort and it plays like a dream. Featuring neck through style construction for maximum sustain. The body shows a fair amount of wear/dings/dents/scratches, etc. but its mostly along the back and back edges, the front is mostly very clean besides some light surface marks. Also the control cavity plates are a little beat up and has one cracked area on the bottom right screw hole but is still functional. There is also a small crack in the neck pickup ring. We'll include detailed pictures of the damage/wear. The neck shows some light wear but nothing that affects playability. Headstock shows some surface marks on the front and some light wear around the edges. Fretboard is in excellent condition and frets have minimal wear. Hardware shows some age and tarnishing but is fully functional. Electronics work great and feature vintage style low output humbuckers with coil taps on the tone controls. Overall a little worn like you would expect from a 40+ year old guitar but is solid and plays like butter. Has been fully inspected and set up by our techs and ready for a new home. Includes original hard case.
