1980 Greco BE-1000 (BC Rich Eagle copy) Japan w/ 1970s Bill Lawrence L-500
Maker: Greco
Model: BE-1000 (Eagle)
Condition: Excellent
Description:
A very rare Greco BE-1000 in extremely clean condition. These made in Japan copies of the famed B.C Rich are far from just being a knock-off and are every bit as well made as the USA counterpart. This one is in beautiful condition showing only the lightest signs of use. The original Dimarzio's were swapped out for an equally rare set of late 1970s Bill Lawrence USA L-500 pickups. Shows some very light surface marks, some very light wear along the edges of the body, and a very small ding on the very top of the headstock. Frets show essentially no wear and have no issues. Electronics all work perfectly and those Bill Lawrence L-500 pickups sound killer. Overall an insanely clean example of a rare beast and so much versatility with the electronics configuration. Has been fully inspected and set up by our tech and ready for a new home. Includes deluxe gig bag.
