Description:
Here for your consideration is a 1977 Yamaha SG2000 in very good condition! We've had quite a few of these come through the shop and this one might just be the best feeling out of them all! The body shows a fair amount of surface marks, dings, dents, scratches and playwear, and has a crack in the finish that goes along the binding, but the binding is in good shape and the crack is purely cosmetic. Overall in very good shape with no major damage. Neck shows some minor surface marks, a few very small dings, and a chip in the clear coat behind the 12th fret (see photos). While the chip in the clear coat can be felt it does not really affect the playability in any way. Besides that the neck is in great shape. Headstock shows some light wear and surface marks, and a few small dings along the edge but is otherwise in very good shape. Fretboard is very clean and frets show surprisingly little wear with no issues. Hardware shows some age, fading, and patina, but is otherwise in very good working condition. Electronics work perfectly and Features the original Yamaha humbuckers that have a slightly lower output than most humbuckers giving them lots of of clarity. Overall this one has a couple battle scars but it more than makes up for it by playing incredible! Has been fully inspected and set up ready for a new home. Includes original Yamaha hard case.
