Today we have something special.. a 1974 Gibson Les Paul Standard in original sunburst finish. This one is rare as most Les Pauls in this era were the Deluxe model with mini humbuckers. This one is not all original and has had some work/upgrades done. We put in a set of Lollar imperial humbuckers as the ones that came with it were weak/dead. We replaced the wiring with an emerson custom pre wired kit as the original wiring was butchered by someone. There was a mini toggle switch added between the two volume controls but we have disconnected it. The body has no major damage but has a fair amount of dings/ scratches and finish checking. The neck has a fair amount of finish checking on the back and a dent behind the 5th fret but it doesn't affect playability. Headstock has checking and some small dings but is in good condition. Tuning machines were changed to grovers at some point. Frets have a decent amount of wear but they still play fine and have no issues with fretting out or buzzing.  Hardware has aged and has a good amount of patina but still works perfectly. Electronics are new and like previously stated have been changed out with an emerson custom Les Paul wiring harness and Lollar Imperial humbuckers. This is a killer vintage les paul with lots of mojo ready for its new home. Has been fully inspected and set up by our team. Includes hard case.
