1980s Mosrite The Ventures Model Reissue 1 piece Ash Body Made in Japan

A rare beautifully grained Ash body Mosrite VMG-1500 Ventures Model, made in Japan. Although extremely clean we believe this is a early 80s model; no "of California" logos, blank knobs, no serial and other aspects that are similar to other early Japan reissues we've seen. This is in very clean condition with barely any surface marks what-so-ever. A very rare one piece ash body in a beautiful 3 color sunburst finish. Usually the Japan reissues tend to be basswood or poplar with a solid finish, you seldom see a woodgrain version. Original tremolo arm was broken and replaced (original is in the case). Apart from a repaired finish chip at the nut (see photos) this is in excellent overall condition. Perfect working order, beautifully playing and unique looking thanks to the rare one piece ash body. With original hard case.
