1979 Gibson ES-335 Semi-Hollow Guitar w/case
Maker: Gibson
Model: ES-335
Condition: very good
Description:
Here for your consideration is a 1979 Gibson ES-335 in very good condition. Originally a Cherry finish, this one has faded to a very nice mellow, almost orange color. Modified to 2 piece tune-o-matic style bridge & tailpiece, originally had trapeze style. Body shows some general wear you'd expect to see on a well loved guitar that is nearly 50 years old- light surface marks, dings, scratches, etc., but overall is in good shape with no major damage of any sort. Neck shows a good amount of natural finish wear but no major dings/dents of any kind. Headstock shows some light wear along the edges but is otherwise clean. Fretboard is in excellent condition. Frets show some wear and divots, but have no issues with dead spots or buzzing and still have a decent amount of life left. Hardware is overall in good condition and all works perfectly, but does show some age and wear. Electronics work great and features the original "tar-back" humbuckers that sound fantastic. A killer vintage 335 that has the perfect vintage, worn in feel. Has been fully inpsected and set up by our tech and ready for a new home. Includes original hard case.
