Model: ST72-86DSC
Condition: very good
Description:
A very early Fender ST-72 Yngwie Malmsteen spec Stratocaster from 1989 from before the launch of the official signature model. For being from the year 1989 this guitar looks and plays as if it was just pulled off the wall. Starting with the body there are a few minor dings in the paint but nothing noticeable. The previous owner added Dunlop strap locks, just like Yngwie. The previous owner added larger screws for the strap locks and in the process cracked the finish and attempted to putty it and fill in the space, there is a notice in paint color difference. The neck and headstock are in great condition like we said previously for being as old of a guitar this is. There is little no ware on the frets and hardware. On the back of the neck there is a streak where lacquer did exist but it doesn't look like it is from being played. Previous owner may have also put upgraded Gotoh locking tuners on it. This pre YJM model is an awesome guitar and is looking for good home for someone who would shred it or appreciate it! Gig bag included.
