Description: 

A beautiful 1980 Greco Super Real series EGF1000 in all original condition. These Super Real models made in the legendary Fujigen factory are some considered the gold standard of Japan vintage era guitar building. The EGF1000 was one of the higher end models and did a fantastic job of capturing the specs and feel of a classic '59 era Les Paul. These higher end models featured a nitrocellulose lacquer finish, factory USA Dimarzio PAFs, one piece mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard, bookmatched flame maple veneer and mahogany body. 

Body shows a fair amount of general playwear, surface marks, dings, scratches, and finish chips (see photos), and has a small (2") split following the grain on the top layer flame veneer emanating from the tailpiece post (see photo). Strictly cosmetic- does not affect the structural integrity of the guitar or bridge.  Otherwise has no major damage or issues and in overall good shape. Back of neck shows a couple minor dings that do not affect playability and otherwise neck is in great shape and is a nice full, comfortable C shape profile. Headstock shows some wear/finish chipping on the top edge, and some light wear along the bottom and side edges but is otherwise clean with no major damage.  Fretboard remains in very good shape and frets show some minor divots in the first positions and some very light wear up the neck, but have no issues with buzzing or dead spots and still have plenty of life in them. Hardware shows a fair amount of aging, oxidization, and pitting but is all original and perfectly functional. Electronics have been thoroughly cleaned and work perfectly. Featuring a factory installed set of DiMarzio PAF hum buckers that sound amazing. Overall a this top of the line Fujigen made '59 style Les Paul plays incredibly well and about as good as it gets when it comes to Japanese "lawsuit" guitars. Has been fully inspected and set up by our tech and ready for a new home. Includes original hard case.
