The J indicates that these models are produced in Japan.  The J Custom line consists of the very highest quality instruments sold by Ibanez in terms of both components and workmanship.  J Custom guitars are produced in Japan by master luthiers from FujiGen Gakki and Sugi Musical Instruments Ltd.. and include upscale features such as exotic wood tops and intricate fretboard inlay designs. They are generally produced in very small production numbers and often are the work of a single luthier.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe \u003cstrong\u003eHRG6\u003c\/strong\u003e is an RG series solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in 2006. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the high end J Custom line. The HRG6 was a spot model created exclusively for the Japanese retailer Ikebe Gakki. The HRG6 features a mahogany body with a flame maple top bolted to a maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and mother of pearl Tree of Life inlay.
