Condition: very good
Description:
This one is quite the rare animal, it's rare to see these 80s made in Japan SJR63 SG Juniors show up in Japan let alone in the US!
These were fantastic copies of a '63 SG junior, neck profile/shape is almost dead on! At over 35 years old it has some miles on it but remains in good condition. This one is incredibly light weighing in at only 5lbs 11oz. The body shows some various dings/scratches/ etc. and has a hole drilled on the back side of the top horn (will attach a detailed photo) otherwise in excellent shape with no major damage. Neck shows a few minor dings on the backside but they do not affect playability and otherwise the neck is in good shape. Headstock is in good condition with only minor surface marks on the front and a few very minor dings along the outside edges and back side. Beautiful rich grained rosewood fretboard in great condition. Frets show some wear but still have plenty of life left and no issues with fretting out/buzzing/dead spots etc. Hardware shows some age but is fully functional. Electronics work great and the pickup sounds killer. Overall a super rare model from the heyday of Japan built quality with a great look and feel.
