This is the \"Premium Collection\" version made for the Japan's domestic market and was notably Fender's first signature Jazzmaster model. L\u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eightweight ash body finished in a striking transparent black sunburst. \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eFeatures a streamlined control layout lacking the traditional upper-bout \"rhythm circuit\" found on standard Jazzmasters, opting instead for a simplified master volume, master tone, and a 3-way toggle switch. \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eMaple neck featuring a bound rosewood fingerboard with block inlays and 22 frets.\u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eOriginal pickguard was delaminating so we had a replacement made (original is included in case). Body shows some minor finish chips\/dings on the bottom edge near the output jack but is otherwise in very good condition with no major damage. Neck shows some very light surface marks but is otherwise very clean. Headstock shows some very light surface marks and wear along the edge but is otherwise in excellent condition. Fretboard is in excellent condition and frets show almost no wear whatsoever. Hardware shows some very light wear but is overall very clean and all working perfectly. Electronics work perfectly and pickups sound fantastic. Plays great and a perfect addition to any collection. A unique and beautiful Jazzmaster!
