The Ambulance “rescue buffer” is a simple, elegant pedalboard solution. It’s a neutral sounding, silicon transistor buffer that runs on 9V and converts your signal to low impedance, countering any capacitance loss from long signal chains. What’s also nice is that you can easily turn it *off* to test the difference it makes, or to see how pedals you have might agree or disagree with a lower impedance signal.
